Introducing our models

‘Neseya Williams’

Karawara – Western Australia – Australia

My name is Neseya, I’m 15 years old. I was born in Albany, Western Australia, ‘Kinjarlin Country’.  I grew up in Perth, ‘Whadjuk Country’. Currently I attend St Norbert College, as a year 10 student, where I hold a basketball scholarship. I love basketball & at the moment I play for the ‘Perth Redbacks’ basketball team, in the Women’s SBL and WABL under 18’s league. I was selected in 2016 to represent Western Australia, in the Australian Junior Championship & was also selected to represent Indigenous Australia at the Friendly Games in Shanghai.

I would love to become a professional model & to represent my culture

‘Raquisha Kearing’

Dayton – Western Australia – Australia

My name is Raquisha, I’m 18 years old & I’m a ‘Billyduck Yorga’ from the ‘Bindjareb Region’ & have family ties in Wadjuk & Ballardong country as well. Culture has always been a big part of me & who I am as a person.  I perform with my father’s dance group ‘The Bindjareb Middars’ & work at schools all over Western Australia teaching Noongar language & tradition.

My aspiration in life is to become an ‘Indigenous Model’, to represent my heritage & culture & to increase awareness, as to the under-representation of Indigenous people in the fashion industry, globally.
